Oily skin
Oily skin is characterized by overactive sebaceous glands that produce too much sebum. This often results in a shiny appearance, especially on the forehead, nose and chin (known as the T-zone). Oily skin tends to have enlarged pores and can be more prone to acne and blackheads due to the buildup of oil and dead skin cells. Proper skin care for oily skin usually includes gentle cleansing to remove excess oil without stripping the skin of essential moisture, as well as using non-comedogenic products to prevent clogged pores.
